VISUAL IDENTITY & KIT DESIGN

Victoria Park Vixens is a grassroots football club based in East London. A women's football club with a men's team, challenging traditional norms within the sport. The club embodies a spirit of inclusivity, community, and breaking down barriers.

We were commissioned to revitalise the visual identity of the club while honouring its heritage and values. This encompassed a comprehensive redesign, including a new club crest, kit designs, and an overall brand refresh.

Approach
In reimagining the club's identity, every detail was meticulously considered. The new club crest was conceptualised to feature the initials ‘VPV’ crafted to form the silhouette of a vixen. The choice of colours remained faithful to the club's tradition, with burgundy renamed as ‘claret’, evoking a sense of romance and sophistication.

Kappa
During the club's identity refresh, an exciting opportunity arose to collaborate with the esteemed sportswear brand, Kappa. Invited to design new home, away, and goalkeeper kits, we set out to create kits that would set VPV apart from the rest, fashion focussed, and effortlessly slick on and off the pitch. Kappa's design and manufacturing teams expertly brought our vision to life. The addition of a gold chrome version of the crest captured the prestige and flair that had been key markers in the overall visual identity update process.

Results
The launch of the refreshed visual identity and kits ignited a wave of enthusiasm both within the club and across the football community. The unveiling garnered significant online traction, with media outlets such as Soccer Bible and Classic Football Shirts featuring the club's evolution. The collaboration with Kappa not only provided high-quality apparel but also amplified Victoria Park Vixens' visibility on and off the pitch.
